  1. Hi Lavinia

Hope you are doing ok during this Level 4 lockdown? I hope there are some fun things happening at your house!

Great to see that you have posted your first piece of work during the online learning. I bet it was strange today having the class lesson online with Miss Power.

Make sure you check out some of the fun things to do on the Totara site, I like the look of the biscuit recipe and I might give them a go!
I look forward to reading more of your work over the next few weeks!

    Talk again soon

  2. Hi Lavinia

Wow this is a great piece of writing, it really makes me feel like I'm in the moment. Great job for added a few similes and other descriptive words that Miss Power was talking about. Was this your most recent game of hide and seek?

    Keep up the good work
    Molly :)

  3. Kia ora Lavinia!
I like how you have used the 5 senses to describe how you were feeling. Maybe next time you could describe where you were hiding more so we can try and guess where you were!. Keep up the great work Lavinia!

  4. Kia ora Lavinia,

How are you and your lovely family doing?

I hope you are all staying warm and safe during Learning From Home. Are you enjoying this new way of learning? I think it has its pros and cons. Main pro is being able to drink coffee whenever I like.

You poem is pretty good. I like the way you sneaked in a simile! Well done. "It makes me feel LIKE I'm escaping prison." These poetic language features really help to create a mood or atmosphere for your poem.

    See you again soon,

    Mrs Gully
